All American West products are made of 100% full grain leathers. We use a variety of leathers including vegetable tanned leathers, tumbled chrome leathers, suede, oil tanned leathers and more.
All leather carving is crafted by hand; tooled one at a time.
All hair-on hides used are 100% cow-hide. (Many are screen printed to imitate other animal hides.)
Our hardware is made of solid metals and most of the pieces are branded with the American West signature.
All handbags, luggage and business briefs feature metal protective feet where possible to guard against damage and dirt.
All American West bags are lined with our 100% cotton signature lining.

American West guarantees all of our leather items against workmanship and/or structural defects for the life of the product. The Lifetime Guarantee assures that we will repair or replace a broken item at no repair cost to you. American West reserves the right to exclude any damage caused by negligence and/or normal wear and tear. All guarantees are extended to the original owner only.

Care & Cleaning
Leather: Please remember, this is a natural product. Colors and textures may change with use. Like your own skin, your accessory will benefit from regular cleaning and conditioning. Please test any cleaning and conditioning in an inconspicuous area first to test the color changes that may occur to natural fibers.
Cleaning suggestions: You may use a cleaner (found at a local shoe repair shops) to wipe away dust and debris. conditioning Suggestions: You may use a lotion (found at any local shoe repair shops), apply liberally with a soft cloth, let dry and gently buff with a clean soft cloth. Some marks may be removed from natural leathers bags by using a diluted solution of lemon juice. Please note that many typed of stains and marks are untreatable. This includes, but is not limited to , stains caused by: ink, cosmetics, food stains, oils, body/hand moisturizers, hand sanitizing cleansers or purfumes. However, many oil-based marks will disappear with time as the fiber uses the oils as moisturizer.
